These blocks have a hole drilled through one side of them. This means when you roll the block it has a ⅓ chance of rolling hole face up. Use this property to demonstrate how radioactive decay works. Take all the blocks and roll them onto the table. Pick out the ones that landed hole face up and stack them on top of each other. Then roll the remaining blocks again and repeat this until all the block have “decayed” away. Please note that you will not get a perfect exponential decay every time but you will get a decent result each time.
