(5C10.10) Assortment of Capacitors
Show students different types of capacitors. At least one of them is a “supercapacitor” (1.0 F, 5.6 volt), as used in electronic clocks to keep the time even when the power is temporarily out. Other uses for capacitors are e.g. in a camera flashlight, for which a large amount of energy is needed in a short time, or more generally any device that needs energy to be stored.
