(1J10.10) Center of Gravity
$0.00
To find the geographic center of Texas or any irregular shaped object, holes can be made at various points on the object. When hanging the map of Texas from one of the points, a torque is created that will cause the map to fall. A mass on a string hanging from the same point is used to make a straight line downward. After repeating this with multiple points on the map, the intersection between the lines will be the geographic center.
