(1R10.10) Hooke’s Law
$0.00
Hooke’s law describes the linear relationship between a force applied to the spring and the distance the spring compresses or stretches, which can be described by the equation F= -kx, where k is the spring constant. In this demonstration, one can add masses to the hanger attached to the spring, which the applied force can be easily calculated, and take note of the displacement of the spring. With these two values, the spring constant can be solved for.
